SitePlan California organizes available property and project information into site-plan drawings for the agreed purpose. We review the project before confirming the work.

Your written quote or project agreement defines the deliverables, price, timeline and revision terms. This page explains the general process and does not replace those project-specific terms.

What a Site Plan Can Include

The agreed drawing may show existing and proposed structures, supplied property dimensions, setbacks, driveways, access, parking and other relevant site features. The required detail depends on the project and reviewing authority.

Source Information

Drawings may use surveys, existing plans, public records, photographs or information supplied by the owner or project team. We need to distinguish verified information from estimates. Tell us about known discrepancies before drafting begins.

Separate Professional Services

Site-plan drafting does not establish legal boundaries or replace a licensed survey. Architectural services, structural or civil engineering, geotechnical reports, professional stamps and other regulated work may be required separately.

Scope, Timing and File Formats

Confirm the requested sheets and whether delivery includes PDF, editable CAD files or both. Timing depends on the available information and project complexity; use the date agreed for your project.

Review Comments and Changes

Provide complete written reviewer comments and the current drawing set. Applicable revisions are considered under the agreed terms. New design work, changed dimensions or additional project phases may affect scope, timing and price.

Permit Decisions

The reviewing agency decides whether an application meets its requirements. A drawing, quote or online tool result does not guarantee approval or authorize construction.
